If you can answer ‘yes’ to any of those questions, then coming in to talk with me could be a really positive choice for you.  An important part of a helpful therapy process is to have a person you feel you can open up to about the thoughts and feelings you don’t talk to anyone else about.

I will listen respectfully to what you share, to hear and understand what your life is like for you, to clarify what you want from life or how you want to feel while you are living it, and to discover what might be keeping that from happening.  Together we will work to deal with the challenges, explore the questions, manage the emotions, and create what you believe is best for your life.

People tell me that I am easy to talk to, down-to-earth, genuine, caring, and that I have a good sense of humor.  I have education in clinical social work, transformative change, and interfaith spirituality.  I also learn a lot from my own life experiences and challenges, which makes me a more empathic, and, hopefully, wiser therapist. 

I am passionate about giving people a place to discover and value what matters to them, to grow through change, to find a sense of joy and well-being, and to develop effective connection with others and with life meaning.   

I usually schedule appointments on Tuesdays through Fridays, including some availability in early mornings or evenings.
