If you are feeling stressed, unmotivated, or are having difficulty with uncertainties in life... please know that there is hope! First, allow me to congratulate you on taking the first step toward emotional healing. Establishing a confidential, non-judging therapeutic relationship takes a great deal of courage and can prove to be extremely rewarding. In my own journey, I have certainly learned that life can be filled with many distractions that may come in the form of responsibilities or obligations, situational frustrations, conflicting struggles, and even chronic concerns. By offering you humanistic support and genuine empathy, I would like to help you to better understand those distractions, recognize the challenges, and begin to acknowledge hope within the ever changing seasons of life.

With a range of experience as a professional counselor, I have come to appreciate the benefits of helping my clients increase focus on their efforts toward self-sufficiency and ultimately reduce the unhealthy impact of the “I didn’t,” “I can’t” and “I’ll never be able to” types of internal dialogue. I completed my undergraduate as well as graduate degrees at the University of Central Florida, where I also obtained the Certificate in Play Therapy as well as the Certificate in Marriage & Family Therapy. My professional growth has afforded me the opportunity to work with clients in a variety of locations: a Community Counseling Clinic, Medical Organizations, Residential Treatment Facilities, within the Home and School, as well as within Private Practice settings. As the current President of the Central Florida Chapter of the Florida Association for Play Therapy, I am able to keep up-to-date on the latest modalities for these creative and effective strategies for treatment to benefit you and your family.

My counseling services are available for (school-age) children, adolescents and adults, and I currently provide sessions for individuals, couples, and families. My specialties include Orlando depression counseling, anxiety, adjustment to a variety of life transitions, stress and anger management, relationship problems (such as communication, trust, co-dependency, control and victimization issues), chronic medical conditions, and certainly personal growth and reflection to name a few. I look forward to working together to develop a greater understanding of the stressful factors in your life, creating opportunities for healthy coping, and ultimately enhancing your ability to capture your inner strength & peace.

I’d like to welcome you to contact me today for a free phone consultation, so that we may determine whether my services would be the best fit for your needs. I can be reached at (407) 733-2110 or by sending an email to
